She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Arthur Witt (Mary Alice Witt) and England; and her brothers, Anthony Witt (Tony), Edward Witt (Ted) and Raymond Witt (Ray).
She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Simmons; her children, Wayne Simmons, Mandy Rayner (Dewayne) and Karen Pittman (William); her grandchildren, Cassie Plunkett (Isaac), Ryan Simmons (Kelsey), Tyler Pittman (Braxton), Nick Rayner and Abby Pittman; her great grandchildren, Paige Phillips, Laken Simmons, Huxley Simmons and Rowdy Plunkett; and her siblings, Derek Witt and Sheila Herrington. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the New Home Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at the New Home Baptist Cemetery.
