He is survived by: his wife Mattie Ree McGee of Louin, Mississippi.; and his children, Donna Hinton (Don), Joe Lee, Jr. (Buddy) and Suzanne Sumrall (Bill). He is also survived by six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
