It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elmer Udell Sims (Bay Springs, Mississippi), who passed away on November 12, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgie McDonald Sims and Benjamin Collis Sims; his wife Virginia Louise Sims; and his siblings, Jewel Sims Cook and Paul Sims.
He is survived by: his daughter June Sims McAdams; his son-in-law John of Fort Worth, TX; his son Stan E. Sims of Seattle Washington; his granddaughter Megan McAdams Goodman (Nathan); his great grandchild Miles Patrick Goodman of Austin, TX.; his nieces and nephews, Jan Cook Herrington, Corrine Yelverton Watts, Nancy TenEyck Hennier, Amy Smith Wilson, Diane Smith Barron, Teresa Kuchta, Candy Stevens Thomas, Judson Yelverton, Chuck Kuchta, Ronnie Kuchta, Jim TenEyck, Carl Smith, David Smith, Barry Bergeron and Jud Yelverton; and also, Lenora Dixon, Ginger Brown and Bitsy.
