He is survived by: his parents, Tommy Wheaton Sr. and Alice Dale Berry; his wife Joann Pittman; his children, Rico Keys, Cedric Ross, Amanda Wheaton, Stacy of Washington and Arlene Wheaton; and his siblings, Eddie Wheaton, Tommy Wheaton Jr., James Earl Wheaton, Frances Moncrief, Dorothy of Washington, Helen Whenton, Dicery Moffett and Elestine Rattcliff. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
