She was predeceased by: her father Junior Ashley; her son Chris Cockrell; and her grandparents, Lee, Etoil Hancock, Wilson and Thelma Ashley.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Hinton; her daughter Natasha Nelson (Cory); her mother Patsy Ashley; her brother Mike Ashley (Melisa); her stepdaughters, Kristen Hinton and Leann Moore; her grandchildren, Macey Nelson, Abrie Nelson, Caleigh Gallisby and Hayden Cockrell; her stepgranddaughter Ellie Grace Moore; and her great grandchild Evelynn Faye Nelson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Liberty Baptist Church (2216 Scr 90, Raleigh, MS 39153). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
