He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill R. Stringer and Addie Odene Jackson; his sister Gloria Musgrove; his grandparents, Velma and Claud; his uncle Jim Stringer; and his father-in-law Woodrow Parker.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Stringer; his children, Lee Stringer (Lacie) and Lisa Stringer; his grandson Lane Bankston; his mother-in-law Onita Parker; and his siblings, Chris Jackson (Lynn), Tim Stringer, Kathy Warren (Scott) and Kandy Stringer. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
