He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Gloria Kennedy; his nephew Luther Fennick (Michelle); his nieces, Barbara Elzy (Martin), Janet Johnson, Connie Lampley, Myra Haynes (Lexie), Candace Johnson (Aritaeus) and Yolanda Graham (Reggie); his grandson Oren Lewis; and his close friends, Cynthia Acker and Shirley Singleton. He is also survived by great nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
