She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Milton G Herr and Mildred Carsh Herr; her former husband Ferdinand F. Holland Jr. of New Orleans; her husband James McGovern of Madison; her children, James McClaren Nelson (Margo) of Hot Springs, Teresa Holland Odom (Richard Odom) of Madison, Lisa Holland Hannah of Chattanooga and Linda Lee Holland of Orlando; her grandchildren, Nathaniel Ray Hannah, Nicholas Holland Hannah and Madelynn Grace Hannah of Chattanooga; and her sister Joyce Herr Hale (Jay) of Fayetteville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association (alz.org) or to a charity of one's choice.
