He was predeceased by: his former wife Rebecca M. Stone; his wife Jerlene Rainer Stone; his parents, Thurman A. Stone and Lottie Moss Stone of Kittrell, NC; and his sisters, Helen S. Clayton of Henderson, NC and Judith S. Miller of Kittrell, NC..
He is survived by: his children, Martha S. Flint (Ben) of Batesville, MS and Robert T. Stone (Linda) of Sardis, MS. He is also survived by six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
