He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Benjamin Shankle, Sr. and Doris "Dot" McDowell Shankle; and his sisters, Emma Lou Graham and Doris Ann Thrasher. He is survived by: his son Benjamin Colby Shankle (Allie); his grandson Benjamin Henry-Gene Shankle; and his brothers, Norman Renfro of Memphis, TN and Billy Wayne Shankle of Courtland, MS. He is also survived by 3 nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to the Shiloh Cemetery Funds.
