He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ray E. Knight and Edythe Kathleen Knight; his wife Kathy Smith Knight of Batesville; his children, Kathleen Knight-Heath of Melrose, Carol Knight of Encinitas, David Knight of Los Altos and Ayham Al-Turkmani of North Port; and his siblings, Kay Tvaroch of Rotunda and Kelly Knight (Tara) of Englewood. He was also cherished by spouses, and six grandchildren.
