He is survived by: his children, Susan Messer of Prentiss, MS, Dennis Perry Dees (Dorothy) of Arlington, TN and Robert Douglas Dees of Cedar Rapids, IA; and his grandchildren, Rob, Carole, Andy, Adam, Alan and Jacob. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
