He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd R. Smith and Willa Mina Mathew Smith; his wife Martha Sutton Smith; and his daughter Kathy Strickland. He is survived by: his children, Susan Smith Berryhill (Andy) of Batesville, MS, Dorothy Carol Rowzee (Jeff) of Florence, MS, Andrea Glynn Berryhill and Clayton Matthew Sibley (Amanda).
