She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jake Thompson and Ruth Scruggs Thompson; her husband Luther McKay Goforth; and her brothers, Ralph Thompson and William Jake Thompson, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Angela Goforth Mackey (Stacy) of Batesville; her sister Peggy Thompson Grogan of Batesville; and her grandsons, Jonathan Mackey (Emily) of Batesville and Josh Mackey of Batesville. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
