It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ona Mae Williams of Batesville, Mississippi, who passed away on March 16, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Williams, Sr.; her son Raymond Williams; her parents, Verdie Smitherman and Dorothy Smitherman; and her sister Mary Dillard.

She is survived by: her children, Mary Kerr (John), Dayton Williams, Jr. and Crockett Williams (Judy); her daughter-in-law Camille Williams; and her siblings, Sonya Christiansen, Donald Miller and Billy Miller. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
