She was predeceased by: her parents, Haywood Burns and Margaret Fowler Burns; and her husband Robert Earl Porter. She is survived by: her siblings, Linda Paige, Roy Burns of Batesville and Gary Burns of Memphis; and her grandchildren, Lacy, Amanda, Dudley Jr., Mikey, Ashley, Holly and Kaytlynn. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Forrest Memorial Park (340 MS-35, Batesville, MS 38606).
