He is survived by: his wife Linda Ford Thomas; and his children, Maribeth Thomas Haire (Billy) of Batesville, Carolee Thomas of Memphis, Lent Thomas (Tripp) of Batesville, James (Jim) of Batesville and John Ford Thomas (Amy) of Batesville. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
