She was predeceased by: her parents, Hillis Herbert and Geraldine Phillips Adamson; her granddaughter Abbigail; her great grandchild Sophie; and her siblings, Lee Adamson and Linda Morphis.
She is survived by: her husband Donnis South of Batesville, MS; her children, Dana Howell (Pastor Roger) of Enid, MS, Dr. Donnie South (Cathy) of Canton, MS and Daryl South (Tracey) of Oxford, MS; her sisters, Sandy Palmer (Mike) of Jacksonville, FL and Janice Patrick of Munford, TN; and her grandchildren, David (Kia), Jonathan (Alecia), Michael, Will (Candice), Jordan (Shelby), Emily, Baley (Greg), Joseph (Kristen), Jake, Blakleigh and Blair (Raymond). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
