He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Edward Taylor and Margorette Freeman Taylor; and his siblings, Verna Lee Todd, Betty Jean Miller, Sandra Kaye Lipsey, Wayne Taylor, Charles Taylor and Wilbur Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Towanda Taylor of Pope, MS; his children, Eley K. Anderson, Jr. (Amanda) of Batesville, MS, Jessica Alexander (Jimmy) of Batesville, MS, Scooter Anderson (Christina) of Batesville, MS and Roger Lewis of Batesville, MS; and his brothers, Howard "Butch" Taylor, Floyd Taylor and Russell Taylor. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren.
