He is survived by: his daughter Audra Thornton of Oxford; his granddaughters, Emma Claire Houston of Oxford and Everly Rose Ledford of Oxford; his stepgrandson Michael Thurston of Richmond, VA; and his siblings, Kem Gossett (Johnny) of Oxford, Dana Harwell (James) of Abbeville, Connie Hobby of Oxford and Marty Hobby of Sardis, MS..
