It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kay Smith (Batesville, Mississippi), born in Water Valley, Mississippi, who passed away on February 21, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James K. Wilbourn and Eva Sartain Wilbourn; and her husband Ben Barrett Smith. She is survived by: her children, Stacy Smith Climer (Tim) of Batesville and Will B. Smith (Anne Fairley) of Oxford; her grandchildren, Barrett Climer, Abbey Climer, Alden Climer, Sydney Smith, John Graeber, IV, Leland Graeber and Duncan Graeber; and her brother-in-law Pete Smith (Brenda) of Newnan, Georgia..
Mrs. Smith was a charter member of the Junior Auxiliary of Batesville, an officer of the National Association of Junior Auxiliaries, and 1981 Queen of the Junior Auxiliary Charity Ball.
