With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Barnett (Batesville, Mississippi), born in Banner, Mississippi, who passed away on September 6, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Barnett, Sr. and Alice L. Kelly; his wife Annis V. Allred; and his children, Michael Barnett and Lori Weatherall.
He is survived by: his son Dennis (Arlena) of Byhalia, MS; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Jeremy, Jessica, Shawn, Daniel, Doug and Lauren; his sisters, Rebecca Barnett Queen of Walnet Creek, CA and Nancy Barnett Horn of Zachary, LA.; his children-in-law, Diana Barnett and Beecher Weatherall; and his great grandchildren, Garrett, Abigail, Caiden, Eli, Sylvia, Aria, Nicholas, Jonah, Taylor, Abby and Sebastian.
He also donated to the Wounded Warrior Fund.
