He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rev. John Lewis and Gladys Flournoy Bowie; his wife Deborah Reifers Bowie of Batesville; his children, Anna Lauren Wilcox (Cory) of Arlington, TN, William Eric Dawson (Evans) of Columbus, MS and Charles Everette "Charlie" Dawson (Monica) of Oxford, MS; his siblings, Sheila Bowie Fowler of Waynesville, NC, Suzannah Bowie Moorman (Steve) of Mont Belvieu, TX and Rev. Kenneth Scott Bowie (Carrie) of Granger, IN; and his grandchildren, Mia Dawson, Ellie Dawson, Hazel Rose Dawson, Arthur Dawson and Jesse Dawson.
