He was predeceased by: his parents, Kate Rayner Mothershed and John Allen Mothershed; his wife Eugenia Mothershed of Lula, Mississippi.; his sister Cornelia Gates; and his siblings-in-law, Wright, B. P. and Claude Poland.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Marie Gray (Steve), John William Mothershed and Milton Allen Mothershed (Marla); his grandchildren, Katie Gray, Kevin Gray, June Hanabi, Will Mothershed, Kira Mothershed and Luke Mothershed; and his great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Liam and Griffin.
