He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry "Gene" and U. V. Bolen Jenkins; his wife Erma Gant Jenkins; and his siblings, Ethelyn Morris, Annis Brown, Imogene Brasher, Libby Reichert and J. W. Jenkins.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Jenkins Harrison (Jeff) of Lake Cormorant, Michael Wayne Jenkins (Sandy) of Sardis and Connie Jenkins Palmertree (Lael) of Como; and his brother Otis Jenkins of Pleasant Grove. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
