She was predeceased by: her parents, Annabell Glover Smith Brewer and Van Wells Smith. She is survived by: her husband William Jake Thompson, Jr.; her daughter Sara Thompson York; her son-in-law Mike Wilson; her grandson Robert Lee York, Jr.; her daughter Sandra Thompson Wilson of Batesville, MS; her son-in-law Robert Lee "Bobby" York, Sr. of Batesville, MS; her grandchildren, Alicia Wilson Capwell (Brandon), Abbey Wilson McMahan (Richard) and Rebecca York Bell (Marvin); and her great grandchildren, Leslie Anne Bass, Robert Walton Bell, Katie Beth Capwell and Allie Wilson Capwell.

Jimmie's contributions to her family, friends, and community will endure as a testament to the life she led.
