He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Nolan and Sarah Elizabeth Wright Scott; his son Bubba Russell; and his siblings, Annie Johnson, Kaye King, Lucy Holden, Grace Jackson, Lawrence Scott and Pinky Scott.
He is survived by: his wife Pam Mills Scott of Sardis, MS; his children, Becky Raburn of Como, MS, Michelle Griffin (Matthew) of Batesville, MS, Jim Scott (Candy) of Sardis, MS and Eddie Nolan (Melissa) of Sardis, MS; his grandchildren, Samantha Raburn, Noah Scott, Joshua Russell, Joseph Alred, Patricia Russell, Shelley Alred, Katie Alred, Kristen Nolan, Jesse Alred, Austin Alred and Chance Welch; and his great grandchildren, Taylor Russell, Tate Rusell, Jaylen Bohanna, Wesley Dulin, Riley Gentry, Ava Rusell and Kahela Dine.
