He was predeceased by: his parents, John Everett Smith and Ethel Lee Pitcock Smith. He is survived by: his wife Janie Lowe Smith of Batesville; his sons, Michael L. Smith (Paula) of Pope, Kevin Smith (Tammy) of Pope, John Ingram of New Albany and Jay Ingram of Eufaula; his brothers, Billy Smith of Pope and Calvin Smith of Courtland; his grandchildren, Tyler Smith, Jennifer Briggs, Hunter Smith, Darbi Sutton, Kristen Ingram, Ethan Ingram and Sarah Ingram; and his great grandchildren, Jonathan Tucker Smith, Casper and Micah Briggs.
