He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Earl Moore and Lessie L. Pettit Moore; his daughter Lisa Moore; his stepson Larry "Bubba" Campbell; and his brothers, Buddy Moore, Dean Moore and William Moore.

He is survived by: his wife Bette Moore of Batesville; his children, Dennis of Batesville and Janice Moore of Batesville; his stepdaughter Melissa Cooper of Virginia; and his brother H. L. Moore of Batesville.
