He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean Barnett and Jewel Barnett of Walnut Ridge; and his wife Brenda Barnett. He is survived by: his daughters, Candice Cox and Britni Avant; his grandchildren, Isabel Cox, Elaine Martinez, Emma Avant, Ellie Avant and Wyatt Avant; his great grandchild Audrey Riva-Leigh Sorokurus; and his brother Douglas Barnett.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dickins Funeral Home (99 Public Square, Batesville, MS 38606).
