She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Watson Rowland and Rener Alice Winter Rowland; and her grandson Timothy Robert Shafer. She is survived by: her children, Timothy Sanders of Water Valley and Rener Shafer of Etta; her grandchildren, James Benjamin Sanders of Oxford, Phillip Halter Sanders of Bruce, Leeallen Sanders of Vardaman, Nichole Gross of Etta, Michael Shafer of Tunica, Billy Shafer of Blue Springs and Jenny McAdory of Louisville; her great grandchild Carolyn Summer Grace Moody; her grandchildren, Kyle Acree Shafer, Kayley Elizabeth Shafer, Noah Shafer, Annah Kate Shafer, Willow Shafer, Jade Shafer and J. D. Shafer; and her nieces, Loretta Bynum, Alice Ann Jenkins, Martha May Bowles and Elizabeth Leggett. She is also survived by her loving family and friends.
