She was predeceased by: her father Thomas Benjamin Bell. She is survived by: her husband Joe A. Gilliam of Pope, MS; her children, Jennifer Gilliam Collins (Ben) of Germantown, TN and Joe A. "Alan" Gilliam, Jr. (Kim) of Madison, MS; her brother Thomas Eugene Bell of Tucson, AZ; and her grandchildren, Isabella Borgos, Anthony Borgos, Scarlett Collins and Addison Collins.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Cheryl's name can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
