Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Celeste Monteith (Batesville, Mississippi), born in Helena, Arkansas, who passed away at the age of 92, on December 20, 2018. She was predeceased by: her parents, Freddie Carothers Parker and Walter Parker; her spouse James B. Monteith; and her siblings, Ann Cloud and Kenneth Parker.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Monteith Hood (Howard) of Duncan, MS and Richard Monteith (Laurie) of Batesville, MS. She is also survived by six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial contributions to be sent to Batesville Presbyterian Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
