It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carrie Mae Doty of Batesville, Mississippi, born in Sardis, Mississippi, who passed away on February 21, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pauline Ruth Martin and Gaston Leslie Coleman; and her husband James Sidney Doty. She is survived by: her children, Ginger Calvert, Mona Roberts of Batesville, MS, James Lesley Doty of Pope, MS and Gary Wayne Doty of Oakland, MS; and her sisters, Donna Fox of Batesville, MS and Linda Pauline Wolf (Gene) of Batesville, MS.
