It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Ray Alford Sr. of Batesville, Mississippi, who passed away on September 15, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Webb Alford and Katie Lou Peterson Alford. He is survived by: his wife June Morrow Alford; his sons, BJ Alford (Raney) of Hernando, MS and Philip Alford of Batesville, MS; his sisters, Shirley Sartin of Batesville, MS and Glenda Reniedo of Baton Rouge, LA; his grandchildren, Kaylee Donaldson, Aniston Alford, Karleigh Alford, Macee Alford and Ruby Kate Alford; and his great grandchild Harper Donaldson.
