She was predeceased by: her husband Col. William "Bill" McArthur; her father Samuel Frank Wilkes; her son William Donald "Don" McArthur; and her siblings, Sara Agnes Letson and Franklin Wilkes.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Kay McArthur Jones of Alford and Michael Greer McArthur of Sardis, MS. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
