He is survived by: his wife Lula Mae Sanford Stuart of Bassfield; his stepchildren, Jeff Sanford (Terry) of Sumrall, Ricky Sanford (Judy) of Sumrall, Michael Sanford (Jerrie Lyn) of Sumrall, Virginia Williamson (Bud) of Sumrall, Cheryl Watson (James) of Bassfield, Tammy Denham (Wayne) of Sumrall, Penny Haden (Louis) of Columbia and Lora Kay Owens (Greg) of Hattiesburg; and his siblings, John R. Stuart of Hattiesburg, Alice Wilson of Hattiesburg, Evelyn Broome of Sumrall, Vivian Anderson of Bassfield and Susan Touchstone of Hattiesburg. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
