It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martie Sistrunk (Bassfield, Mississippi), born in Lumberton, Mississippi, who passed away on March 6, 2019, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Sistrunk and Dora Sistrunk; and his brother Gerald "Henny" Sistrunk. He is survived by: his wife Gay Sistrunk; his sons, David Sistrunk and Tony Sistrunk (Nickie); his siblings, Sharon Carter, Tommy Sistrunk (Elsie), Jessie Sistrunk (Diane) and Howard "Bimbo" Sistrunk (Donna); and his grandchildren, Shannon Sistrunk and Billy Sistrunk. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
