She was predeceased by: her mothers, Frances Cavanaugh and Aurelia Kerley Cavanaugh; her husband Jimmy Dale Jackson; her children, Bryan Jackson and Tonya Jackson; her great grandchild Thomas Jaydon Jackson; and her sisters, Frances "Tookie" Rester and Judene Brien.
She is survived by: her son Gary Jackson of Bassfield; her siblings, Kathy Cook of Houston, TX, Charlotte Cavanaugh of New Orleans, LA, Mary Lee Hoskins of New Orleans, LA, Betty Berquest of New Orleans, LA, Thomas Wayne Cavanaugh of Hattiesburg and Alan "Butch" Cavanaugh of New Orleans, LA.; her grandchildren, Megan Jackson, Melanie Jackson and Garrett Jackson; and her great grandchildren, D. J. Keys, Jonathan Jackson and Kambri Peavy. She is also survived by her grandchildren knew they had the best Nanny a child.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Peter Parish Hall (4135 MS-42, Bassfield, MS 39421). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter Catholic Church (4135 MS-42, Bassfield, MS 39421). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at the St. James Cemetery.
