She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Howard and Esther Daley Howard; her husband Roy Courtney; and her brothers, Billy Howard and Danny Howard.
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Courtney Speights (Robby) of Boston, MA, Don Courtney (Kim) of Monticello, Rod Courtney (Kathy) of Hattiesburg and Grant Courtney (Dawn) of Birmingham, AL.. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
