She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Howard and Esther Daley Howard; her husband Roy Courtney; and her brothers, Billy Howard and Danny Howard.
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Courtney Speights (Robby) of Boston, MA, Don Courtney (Kim) of Monticello, Rod Courtney (Kathy) of Hattiesburg and Grant Courtney (Dawn) of Birmingham, AL.. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Peter Parish Hall (4135 MS-42, Bassfield, MS 39421). A rosary was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter Catholic Church (4135 MS-42, Bassfield, MS 39421). A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at the Bassfield Cemetery.
