With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lanell Reese of Bassfield, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 26, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Lanell shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Lanell farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie B. Adams and Eula C. Adams. She is survived by: her husband James Reese of Bassfield, MS; her daughter Sandra Adams of Bassfield, MS; and her siblings, Levator Adams, Jr. of Monticello, MS, Gwendolyn Seals of Carson, MS, Johnnie R. Hathorn of Carson, MS, Bobbie N. Martin of Arizona and Joyce Griffith of Jackson, MS. She is also survived by grandchildren; 2; great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Shorts Chapel Methodist Church.
