He is survived by: his brother Francis Burns; his children, Gwendolyn Burns McMahon (Jim), Rosanna Burns Moore, Janice Burns Tramel (Anthony) and Ashley Burns (Jamie); his grandchildren, Angela Morrow McMillian, Shane Tramel, Kyra Bell Tyson, Shanna Adams Rao, Chad Morrow, Robby Clark, Jonathan Burns-Cruz, James McMahon, Devin Burns-Cruz, Anna Lee Burns-Cruz and Ashton Burns, Sr.; and his great grandchildren, Shauna Beckner Tramel, Jason Tyson, Jules Lucas, Samantha Brown, Ethan Clark, Evan Clark, Ephram Clark, Sarah Rao, Stephen Rao, Savannah Morrow, Alyssa Morrow, Camron Cruz, Shay Tramel, Tatum Tramel, Ashton Burns, Jr. and Aubrey Burns.
