He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Lee and Esther Lee; his wife Evelyn Lee; his son Raymond Andrew Lee; and his brothers, Samuel Lee, Willie Lee and James Lee.

He is survived by: his children, Charles D. Lee, Travis D. Lee, David L. Lee, Thomas R. Lee, Cynthia Tisdale (Thomas) of West Point and Amy Lee Langley of Brandon; and his sisters, Gladys McCoy and Grace Lee. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
