With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carey Holland (Bassfield, Mississippi), who passed away on January 30, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Holland and Dixie Davis Holland; and his wife Billie Jean King Holland. He is survived by: his children, Melinda Holland Trotti of Madison and Chuck Holland (Traci) of Sumrall; his sister Ann Breaux of Chicago, IL.; his grandchildren, Leigh Holland Strbling (Chad), Lauren Ellen Heniken (John), Michael Carey Holland (Julianne), John Schrader Holland (Courtney) and Mary Kate Graham (Hunter); and his great grandchildren, Thomas Holland, John August, Jack, Avery, Gabriel, Wyatt, Carson and Taylor Rhea.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Goodhope Methodist Church. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at the Jefferson Marion King Cemetery.
