He is survived by: his wife Sandra Aultman Burge; his children, Chet Burge (Lisa), Clay Burge (Patsy), Chris Burge (Tara), Jane Cooper (Darron) and Julie Clinton (Jessie); and his siblings, Montez Hartfield, Jackie O'Gwynn, Kinard Burge and Jesse Burge. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faithway Baptist Church (438 Faithway Rd, Columbia, MS 39482). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Faithway Missionary Baptist Church.
