He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Huckaby and Dovie Mae Cliffton Huckaby; and his siblings, Johnnie Reynolds, James Huckaby, Lonnie Huckaby and William Huckaby.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Harris Huckaby of Banner, MS; his children, Patsy Faye Huckaby Dorris of Banner, MS and Charles Edward Huckaby of Banner, MS; his grandchildren, Brandon Dorris, Amber Tutor (Philip), Alaina Collins (James) and Bradley Dorris (Marley); and his sisters, Janette Dunaway (Chet), Mae Pollan and Lucy Swanson. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Drivers Flat Baptist Church (245 Co Rd 266, Banner, MS 38913). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Driver's Flat Baptist Church in Memory of Mr. Charlie Huckaby.
