She was predeceased by: her husband Norman English; her parents, Cullen Yates and Lucille Yates; her brothers, Gene Yates (Hazel), Keith Yates (Jettie) and Millard Yates; and her son-in-law Billy Jones.
She is survived by: her daughter Norma Jo English Jones; her granddaughters, Lori Sims of Iuka and Marcie Whitley McCafferty (Dustin) of Ripley; her great grandchildren, Kaylee Sims Hobson (Aleck), Ruthie McCafferty and Maggie McCafferty; her great great grandchild Billie Hobson; her sisters, Sandra Green (Buster) of Wheeler and Francile Davis (Rickie) of Jumpertown; and her siblings-in-law, Pat Yates of Booneville, Peggy English (Honnell) and Larry English (Sally) of Booneville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Jumpertown Methodist Church. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
