He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Franks and Suler Lindsey Franks; his wife Patricia Lominic; his son Dale Franks; his grandchildren, Towanda Bittles and Keri Floyd; his great grandchild Andrew Bittles; and his siblings, Charles Franks and Virginia Chittoms.
He is survived by: his children, Sherry Floyd (Wayne) of Baldwyn, Loria Floyd of Pisgah and Terry Franks (Lesa) of Baldwyn; his close friend Betty Hefner; and his grandchildren, John Floyd (Kayla) of Booneville, Melissa Ray of Corinth, Tim Floyd of Corinth, Angie Smith (Anthony) of Booneville, Kimberly Williams (Randall) of Baldwyn, Buck Franks of Baldwyn, Josh Franks (Shelby) of Saltillo and Clinton Franks (Kaitlyn) of Baldwyn. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
