It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Gentry (Baldwyn, Mississippi), born in New Albany, Mississippi, who passed away on October 5, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Billy Gentry; his grandparents, Christine, Travis McDonald, Francis and Baxter Gentry; and his sister Kay Gentry Hill.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela Gentry; his daughters, Kimberly Gentry and Stephanie Gentry; his mother Evelyn McDonald Gentry; his grandchildren, Clara Short and Greyson Short; his cousins, Wayne Gentry, Mike Gentry and Rita Gentry; and his nephew Jackie Hill. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
