He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Thrasher and Edna Thrasher; and his siblings, Joe, Ray, Billy Thrasher and Sue Austin.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda Thrasher; his daughters, Shelia Mullikin (James) of Pine Grove, Angela Hyde (Russ) of Jumpertown, Melissa Mask (Mike) of Pine Grove and Jeri Lynn Hyde (Jeremy) of Olive Branch; and his siblings, Martha Thornton (Harold) of Thrasher and Jimmy Thrasher (Sarah) of Saltillo. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
